In this weekly analysis, we examine the distribution patterns of newly registered domains during the period of March 10-16, 2025. Based on data from ABTdomain’s WHOIS database, a total of 1,416,444 new registrations were registered across 530 different TLDs through 694 different registrars during this one-week period.

On March 18, 2025, ABTdomain recorded significant domain registration activity across various TLDs (Top-Level Domains). This report analyzes the distribution of newly registered domains by TLD and examines the market share of domain registrars for the top 5 TLDs.

1. Newly Registered Domains: Global Distribution Analysis

ABTdomain analyzed 1000 TLDs and found 445 TLDs with newly registered domains, recording a total of 237,031 newly registered domains. Most of these domains were registered between March 16-18, 2025. The distribution reveals that .com continues to dominate the domain registration landscape, accounting for more than half of all new registrations.
