On March 06, 2025, ABTdomain recorded significant domain registration activity across various TLDs (Top-Level Domains). This report analyzes the distribution of newly registered domains by TLD and examines the market share of domain registrars for the top 5 TLDs.

1. Overall Analysis

ABTdomain analyzed 999 TLDs and found 467 TLDs with newly registered domains, recording a total of 222,087 newly registered domains. The data shows that .com remains the dominant TLD in the market, accounting for 51.8% of all newly registered domains with 114,990 registrations. Most of these domains were registered between March 04-06, 2025.

a) Newly Registered .com Domains

ABTdomain recorded 114,990 newly registered .com domains on March 06, 2025. All these domains were registered on March 05, 2025. This represents more than half of all domain registrations across all TLDs.

ABTdomain recorded 18,941 newly registered .xyz domains on March 06, 2025. All these domains were registered between March 04-06, 2025. The .xyz TLD has gained popularity as an alternative to traditional extensions.
