On March 08, 2025, ABTdomain recorded significant domain registration activity across various TLDs (Top-Level Domains). This report analyzes the distribution of newly registered domains by TLD and examines the market share of domain registrars for the top 5 TLDs.

1. Overall Analysis

According to ABTdomain’s analysis, a total of 214,953 domains were newly registered across 455 TLDs on March 6-8, 2025. The distribution shows that .com remains the dominant TLD with 108,801 registrations, representing 50.6% of all newly registered domains.

ABTdomain recorded 108,801 newly registered .com domains on March 07, 2025. The .com TLD continues to be the most popular choice for domain registrations, maintaining its majority position with 50.6% of all new registrations.

The .top TLD saw 14,964 new domain registrations, making it the second most popular TLD with 7.0% of the total registrations. This demonstrates the growing popularity of this relatively newer TLD.
