  • .com: 132,550 domains (56.5% of total registrations)
  • .xyz: 11,473 domains (4.9%)

  • .org: 8,062 domains (3.4%)
  • .net: 6,814 domains (2.9%)

Other TLDs, such as .info, .store, .bond, .site, and others collectively accounted for a smaller portion of registrations. Meanwhile, 16.8% of the domains were distributed across various other TLDs.


2. Top 5 TLDs Registrar Analysis

a) Newly Registered .com Domains

The .com TLD remains the most dominant, accounting for 132,550 newly registered domains, representing 56.5% of all registrations. This highlights the continued global preference for the .com extension due to its reliability and widespread recognition.

Among the 132,550 newly registered .com domains, the top registrars are:

  • GoDaddy: 29,845 domains (22.5%)
  • Namecheap: 17,994 domains (13.6%)
  • Squarespace: 7,430 domains (5.6%)
  • Hostinger: 7,021 domains (5.3%)
  • Tucows: 5,086 domains (3.8%)

Smaller registrars collectively managed 34.9% of the total .com registrations, showcasing the diversity and competitiveness of the market.


b) Newly Registered .xyz Domains

The .xyz TLD continues to gain traction, particularly among tech startups, blockchain projects, and creative industries. A total of 11,473 .xyz domains were registered, making it the second most popular TLD after .com.

Among the 11,473 newly registered .xyz domains, the top registrars are:

  • Alibaba Cloud: 4,273 domains (37.2%)
  • Namecheap: 1,757 domains (15.3%)
  • GMO Internet: 1,523 domains (13.3%)
  • GoDaddy: 1,227 domains (10.7%)
  • Dynadot: 527 domains (4.6%)

The remaining 18.9% were distributed among smaller registrars, reflecting the broad adoption of this extension. Thanks to special offers from Alibaba Cloud, GMO, and Namecheap, .xyz maintains its position as the second most popular TLD in newly registered domains.


c) Newly Registered .top Domains

The .top TLD, often associated with innovative and trend-driven projects, recorded 10,377 registrations. Its popularity is growing, particularly in niche markets and specific regions.
