The data includes registrations from February 21 to February 23, 2025.
1. TLD Distribution Overview
ABTdomain analyzed 1,002 TLDs and identified 425 TLDs with newly registered domains, recording a total of 170,441 newly registered domains.

The distribution of top TLDs is as follows (sorted by domain count):
- .com: 92,386 domains (54.2% of total registrations)
- .top: 11,840 domains (6.9%)
- .xyz: 6,296 domains (3.7%)
- .net: 6,193 domains (3.6%)
- .org: 5,748 domains (3.4%)
- .online: 4,832 domains (2.8%)
- .shop: 4,215 domains (2.5%)
- .store: 3,912 domains (2.3%)
- .info: 3,648 domains (2.1%)
- .site: 3,340 domains (2.0%)
Other TLDs collectively accounted for 28,031 domains, representing 16.4% of the total registrations. This distribution underscores the enduring dominance of .com domains, while also highlighting the growing adoption of alternative and niche TLDs.
Top 5 Registrars for Popular TLDs
a) Newly Registered .com Domains

For the 92,386 newly registered .com domains, the following registrars held the largest shares:
- GoDaddy: 17,282 domains (18.7%)
- Tucows: 12,880 domains (13.9%)
- Namecheap: 8,616 domains (9.3%)
- Hostinger: 5,311 domains (5.7%)
- Squarespace: 4,799 domains (5.2%)
The remaining 32.7% of .com registrations were distributed among other registrars.
b) Newly Registered .top Domains

The 11,840 newly registered .top domains were distributed among the top registrars as follows:
- Namesilo: 2,806 domains (23.7%)
- Gname: 2,506 domains (21.2%)
- Dynadot: 1,703 domains (14.4%)
- Alibaba Cloud: 1,126 domains (9.5%)
- GoDaddy: 860 domains (7.3%)
Namesilo led the registrations, with nearly one-fourth of the market share.
c) Newly Registered .xyz Domains

A total of 6,296 newly registered .xyz domains were observed. The top 5 registrars accounted for 68.9% of these registrations:
- Namecheap: 1,457 domains (23.1%)
- GoDaddy: 1,029 domains (16.3%)
- Alibaba Cloud: 890 domains (14.1%)
- Namesilo: 519 domains (8.2%)
- Dynadot: 445 domains (7.1%)
Namecheap’s leading share highlights its strong presence in the .xyz domain market.
d) Newly Registered .net Domains

For the 6,193 newly registered .net domains, the top 5 registrars were:
- GoDaddy: 1,335 domains (21.6%)
- Namecheap: 800 domains (12.9%)
- Squarespace: 426 domains (6.9%)
- Gname: 301 domains (4.9%)
- Hostinger: 291 domains (4.7%)
GoDaddy maintained a strong position with over one-fifth of the total registrations.

A total of 5,748 newly registered .org domains were recorded, with the top registrars being:
