1. Newly Registered Domains: Global Distribution Analysis
ABTdomain analyzed 1000 TLDs and found 460 TLDs with newly registered domains, recording a total of 226,698 newly registered domains. The data shows that .com domains continue to dominate the market, accounting for nearly half of all new registrations. The second most popular TLD is .xyz, followed by .top, .online, and .org.

2. Top 5 TLDs by Volume of Newly Registered Domains
a) .com Newly Registered Domains
On March 20, 2025, ABTdomain recorded 110,885 .com newly registered domains. These registrations were completed on March 19, 2025, making up 48.9% of all new domain registrations across all TLDs.
- Godaddy: 25,749 domains (23.2%)
- Namecheap: 12,945 domains (11.7%)
- Publicdomainregistry: 8,010 domains (7.2%)
- Squarespace: 6,903 domains (6.2%)
- Dynadot: 5,141 domains (4.6%)
The remaining top registrars include Tucows (4.3%), Alibaba Cloud (3.6%), Wix (2.9%), Psi-usa (2.5%), and Cloudflare (2.4%). Other registrars collectively account for 31.4% (34,836 domains) of all .com registrations. Godaddy maintains a commanding lead in the .com space, registering more than twice as many domains as its closest competitor.
b) .xyz Newly Registered Domains
ABTdomain recorded 20,777 .xyz newly registered domains on March 20, 2025. These registrations, which occurred between March 18-20, 2025, represent the second largest TLD category with 9.2% of total new domain registrations.

ABTdomain recorded 10,260 .top newly registered domains on March 20, 2025. These domains, registered between March 18-20, 2025, represent 4.5% of all new domain registrations.

ABTdomain recorded 9,975 .online newly registered domains on March 20, 2025. These registrations, completed between March 18-20, 2025, account for 4.4% of all new domain registrations.

ABTdomain recorded 7,436 .org newly registered domains on March 20, 2025. These registrations, which took place between March 18-20, 2025, represent 3.3% of all new domain registrations.
