1. Newly Registered Domains: Global Distribution Analysis
ABTdomain analyzed 994 TLDs and found 440 TLDs with newly registered domains, recording a total of 245,366 newly registered domains. The TLD distribution shows clear market preferences, with .com maintaining its dominant position in the domain registration landscape.

a) .com Newly Registered Domains
ABTdomain recorded 120,412 .com newly registered domains on July 19, 2025. These domains were registered on July 18, 2025, showing consistent demand for the most popular TLD.

- GoDaddy: 24,154 domains (20.1%)
- Namecheap: 13,992 domains (11.7%)
- Squarespace: 9,759 domains (8.1%)

ABTdomain recorded 29,356 .xyz newly registered domains on July 19, 2025. These domains were registered on July 19, 2025, as well as July 18, 2025, and July 17, 2025.
The top 5 registrars for .xyz domains are:
- GMO Internet: 19,973 domains (68.0%)
- Porkbun: 3,482 domains (11.9%)
- GoDaddy: 2,188 domains (7.5%)

The .xyz TLD market shows extreme concentration, with GMO Internet dominating with over two-thirds (68.0%) of all new registrations. This represents a significantly more concentrated market than .com, with the top two registrars together controlling nearly 80% of all new .xyz domain registrations.

ABTdomain recorded 16,787 .top newly registered domains on July 19, 2025. These domains were registered on July 19, 2025, as well as July 18, 2025, and July 17, 2025.
The top 5 registrars for .top domains are:
- godaddy.com: 4,959 domains (29.6%)
- GoDaddy: 2,813 domains (16.8%)
- Spaceship: 2,520 domains (15.0%)
- Namesilo: 1,571 domains (9.4%)
- Gname: 1,372 domains (8.2%)
Interestingly, the .top TLD market shows GoDaddy appearing twice (as “godaddy.com” and “GoDaddy”), together accounting for 46.4% of all registrations. This suggests that GoDaddy may be operating under different registrar IDs or platforms for .top domains. The market is less concentrated than .xyz but more concentrated than .com, with the top five registrars handling 79% of all new .top registrations.
d) .online Newly Registered Domains
ABTdomain recorded 8,736 .online newly registered domains on July 19, 2025. All the domains were registered on July 19, 2025, as well as July 18, 2025, and July 17, 2025.

- Crazydomains: 2,996 domains (34.3%)
- Namecheap: 1,205 domains (13.8%)
- GoDaddy: 871 domains (10.0%)
- Reg: 527 domains (6.0%)

The .online TLD shows a different market dynamic with Crazydomains as the clear leader, capturing over a third of all new registrations. The top 5 registrars account for approximately 70% of all .online registrations, while “Others” represent a significant 30.1%, indicating a relatively competitive marketplace beyond the top players.
e) .mobi Newly Registered Domains
ABTdomain recorded 6,989 .mobi newly registered domains on July 19, 2025. All these domains were registered on July 17, 2025, and July 18, 2025.
The top 5 registrars for .mobi domains are:
- Juming: 2,758 domains (39.5%)
- West.cn: 2,595 domains (37.1%)
- Gname: 975 domains (14.0%)
- Spaceship: 482 domains (6.9%)
- GoDaddy: 45 domains (0.6%)
The .mobi TLD market shows extremely high concentration with just two registrars, Juming and West.cn, controlling over 76.6% of all new registrations. This is the most concentrated market among the top 5 TLDs after .xyz. GoDaddy, which dominates in other TLDs, has a minimal presence in the .mobi space with only 0.6% market share.
