1. Newly Registered Domains: Global Distribution Analysis

On September 4, 2025, ABTdomain analyzed 1061 TLDs and found 464 TLDs with newly registered domains, recording a total of 237,295 newly registered domains. The distribution of these registrations reveals that the .com TLD continues to dominate the market, accounting for more than half of all new domain registrations.

a) .com Newly Registered Domains

The .com TLD remains the overwhelming favorite for domain registrations, with 124,510 newly registered domains on September 4, 2025. This accounts for 52.5% of all domain registrations tracked by ABTdomain on this date.

The .top TLD secured the second position with 14,793 newly registered domains, representing 6.2% of all new domain registrations. This TLD has gained significant traction in the domain market.

c) .online Newly Registered Domains

The .online TLD ranks third with 12,685 newly registered domains, capturing 5.3% of the total domain registration volume. This newer TLD continues to show strong adoption.

The .org TLD completes our top five with 8,075 newly registered domains, accounting for 3.4% of the total registrations. These domains were registered across the three-day period from September 2 to September 4, 2025.
