- The same phrase drew a wave of .com registrations from the day it was spoken, spread across many registrars.

Domain Registration Intelligence
Super Intelligence, and .si
On Tuesday September 22, President Trump told the UN General Assembly that artificial intelligence would be called “super intelligence” in US government documents, Axios reported that day. SI is also Slovenia’s country-code extension. DomainKits followed the first days of the wave in The Super Intelligence Domain Registration Wave on September 23; this is the rest of the week.
On September 28, 24ur reported that the registry had counted 3,930 new .si registrations in the preceding 24 hours, compared with 3,515 in the previous month. Its statistics page showed 222,179 .si domains on September 29.
The registry’s statistics page publishes counts; DomainKits NRDS search shows the names. On September 29, 16,146 .si registrations made since September 19 could be searched there. The table shows daily counts for the report week alongside an earlier September baseline:

The count had already risen to 658 on Sunday September 20, two days before the speech and the day after Trump asked followers on social media to choose a new name for AI; the September 23 DomainKits piece covers that poll and the names registered around it. In a sample of 80 names registered on September 23, most are English words and brandables rather than Slovenian terms, such as paywise, growthlabs, cerebrate and walletpro, consistent with the earlier finding that investors were leading the wave.
For brand and security teams, the names are the useful part. Among the new .si names since September 19, a search returns 37 containing “bank”, 119 containing “pay” and 16 containing “gov”, mygov.si and goverment.si among them. These substring matches provide a starting point for review; they do not establish affiliation or malicious activity.
The phrase ran through .com as well. The weekly total of pure-letter .com registrations containing “superintelligence” rose from a prior three-week average of about 23 to 975. Those names were registered through 41 registrars, with 281 registered on the day of the speech, and more than a third of them used marketplace nameservers when checked. Method Notes
- Revised figures. Both weeks use the September 29 dataset. Records added since the previous issue raised the prior week by 307 on .com, 290 on .app, 30 on .net, 24 on .xyz, 12 on .org and 2 on .dev.
- Datasets. The overview uses the daily trend series; keyword counts use the registration records. .si totals are the registry’s. Searchable .si counts are DomainKits discovery figures and rise as further registrations are picked up.
- Keyword counts. Word-based, deduplicated by domain, pure-letter .com only. The superintelligence count in the lead matches the full word anywhere in the name.
