These top three registrars account for 37.8% of all newly registered domains. The remaining market is fragmented among numerous registrars, with “Others” representing 35.7% of registrations, indicating a competitive marketplace with many smaller players.

a) .com Newly Registered Domains

During the week of July 14-20, 2025, ABTdomain recorded 775,943 new .com domain registrations, representing 47.7% of all new domains registered in this period.

Together, these two registrars handle nearly one-third of all new .com registrations. Hostinger and Squarespace are tied with 5.7% each, while Dynadot rounds out the top five with 4.8%. It’s notable that 36.1% of .com registrations are handled by registrars outside the top 10, indicating a diverse ecosystem of domain providers.

b) .xyz Newly Registered Domains

The .xyz TLD saw 239,532 new domain registrations during the reporting period, making it the second most popular TLD with 14.7% of all new registrations.

During the week of July 14-20, 2025, ABTdomain recorded 93,576 new .top domain registrations, representing 5.8% of total new domain registrations.

If combined, the GoDaddy entities would control 37.4% of all .top registrations. Gname and Alibaba Cloud complete the top five with 10.6% and 8.3% respectively. The “Others” category represents 29.3% of registrations, showing moderate market fragmentation.

d) .online Newly Registered Domains

ABTdomain recorded 46,757 new .online domain registrations during the week, making it the fourth most popular TLD with 2.9% of all new registrations.

It’s notable that 44.7% of .online registrations are handled by registrars outside the top five, indicating a highly diverse and competitive market for this TLD.

e) .org Newly Registered Domains

During the reporting period, 46,275 new .org domains were registered, accounting for 2.8% of all new domain registrations.
